Project Development :
As on date SEL has become the prominent organization for Renewable power development
in India & abroad, with capabilities to undertake all the activities from conceptualization
to commissioning in relation to setting up projects.
SEL presently has an base of some prestigious projects including projects taken
up in Joint Venture. Considering the impediment faced during execution of these
projects such as unfavorable geological conditions, difficult law and order problems,
inaccessible and remote locations, the achievement so far is commendable. The generation
performance of these stations has been outstanding.
SEL is presently engaged in the construction of some projects aggregating Given
the renewed thrust on development of renewable power, SEL has drawn up a massive
plan to add over 1500 MW of capacity by the end of year 2017.
